Map it Out

I've always had a fascination with maps. I'm not a big traveller, yet, but I love the possibilities a map holds. Roads leading all over. Winding rivers. Huge lakes plopped right in the middle of a forest. Big cities in a grid.

They all make me happy.

Home Made

I came across these beautiful little clay pots today. I think a trip to the craft store is in order. And don't you just love those succulents? I've been wanting some plants just like these in my home.

I worked on this little project over the weekend. I think it turned out great!

It will soon have a home right above my kitchen sink.

But if I got a pink Eames chair then I would have to get a new dining table. Then a rug. Then a modern light fixture. Then some retro serving pieces. And probably a Mid-Century modern house. I'm really not in the mood to move so I'll just stick with what I have.

Organization in Unexpected Places

Space is at a premium in my little house so I have to be very creative to make the most of it.

I found this great idea, and then I remembered my amazing vintage chalkboard! It needs to be repainted before I can post pics.
